Tracking rack errors

I'm using unicorn with rails 3.1, I've got quiet a lot of rack errors witch airbrake can't catch, because rails even can't start if rack fails. What is a right way to setup so I could also catch these errors. If I setup airbrake within config.ru do I have additionally to setup in rails?

    HI Troex,
    check out the notifier for a rack-based framework with lilypad
    also take a look at providing exceptions as rack middle ware with rack_hoptoad
    Let me know if one of those can get you any closer or not.
